The department of Applied Science has senior, experienced and highly qualified staff in all areas of specializations. It includes the subjects like Physics, chemistry and Mathematics. These subjects are mainly concerned with first year degree engineering course.
The basic sciences are very important subjects in the field of engineering and they form a good base for four year degree engineering course of different branches. Applied science department has the following laboratories:

The laboratories are fully equipped with advanced instruments required for conducting the various laboratory experiments of the applied science subject.
FE academic co-coordinator, headed by a senior faculty, coordinates all the activities of first year degree engineering students. It interacts directly with the parents and personal care is being extended to every entrant to feel at home. We have started teachers guardian scheme for the development of students. The office conducts unit test and performance of the students sends through progress card.
First year classes are well equipped with furniture, O.H.P. and other teaching aids. The overhead projector is more effective for teaching-learning process. |
