RGS College of Pharmacy Faculty is highly qualified and has rich and varied experience in teaching as well as profession. The Faculty guides the student with respect to study, performance and career prospect in the related discipline.


	Dr. Ravindranath B Saudagar M. Pharm., Ph. D. ( Professor & Principal )
Prof. R. B. Saudagar has nearly 17 years of research and teaching experience at U.G. and P.G. level. He is a leading scientist and well-known academician. Prof. Saudagar did his doctoral research at the Dept. of Pharmacy, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur (C.G) He has over 25 research publications to his credit published in international and national journals. He has delivered invited lectures and chaired many sessions in several National Conferences and Symposia in India. His research interest extends Modern analytical techniques & Herbal drug standardization, New Drug Delivery Systems with Biotechnology bias. He is reviewer of various national & international journals & Editor-in-chief of Research journal of Pharmacy & Technology. He has authored 1 book, in press. He is registered Pharmacist, Life member of Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) & Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI). Presently, he is Professor and Principal at R.G. Sapkal College of Pharmacy, Anjaneri, Nashik affiliated to University of Pune.

Mr. Gondkar S. B.
	M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics) Assistant Professor
Prof. Gondkar S. B. completed his graduation from N.D.M.V.P’s College of Pharmacy, Nashik in 1992 and Postgraduation in Pharmaceutics in 1994. He has industrial Experience of one year as a production facilitator in Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd. He is one of the successful acedemicia ,Worked as a H.O.D. and lecturer in Pharmaceutics at Pravara Rural College of Pharmacy, Pravaranagar, Loni for 7.5 years from 1995 to July 2002.Worked as a lecturer, Assistant Professor in Pharmaceutics and promoted as a Vice –Principal at MGV’S Pharmacy College, Nashik from 2002 to 5th september 2010 for 08 years. He has registered for Ph.D from University of Pune. Attended 07 National conferences and one International conference. Presented 05 research finding at these conferences. Attended 07 national level seminars out of which 03 times acted as a resource person. Presented 02 research findings at the INNOVATION, University of Pune. Successfully Completed research project on BCUD, alongwith Prof. Mr. A B. Darekar, worth Rs 2 lakhs awarded by University of Pune in 2007-09. Motivated and Guided 07 M.Pharm and 10 undergraduate students for their research projects. Presently, he is Vice-principal as R.G.Sapkal College of Pharmacy, Anjaneri, Nashik, affiliated to university of pune

Mr. Avinash B. Darekar
	M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics) MBA (Marketing) Assistant Professor
Prof. Avinash B. Darekar has completed his postgraduation from reputed NDMVP’s college of Pharmacy, Nashik. He is academician with 14 years of teaching experience and guided many students at PG level. He has completed his Master of Business Administration and pursuing his Ph.D from University of Pune. Successfully Completed research project on BCUD, alongwith Prof. Mr. Gondkar S. B., worth Rs 2 lakhs awarded by University of Pune in 2007-09. He is well known resource person of Pharma marketing. He deeply believes in core pharmacy teaching and recommends many students for pursuing higher education abroad. He is also busy with community pharmacy and social consulting of Pharma profession. He has also attended and participated conferences at National and International Level, seminars and workshops. Presently, he is Assistant Professor as R.G.Sapkal College of Pharmacy, Anjaneri, Nashik, a state of Art, Pharma institution in Maharashtra and affiliated to University of Pune

Mrs. Monita P. Gide
	M. Pharm Assistant Professor
Mrs Monita P. Gide is Assistant Professor in P’ceutical Analysis. She has earned Bachelors degree OF Pharmacy from Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Poona college of Pharmacy. She qualified GATE in 1997. She has done M. Pharm in Quality Assuarance from C. U. Shah College of Pharmacy, Mumbai in 2001.She has more than 8 years of teaching experience in various reputed institutes. She has three publications to her credit in well-known national journals.She deeply believes in upgrading the students through devoted teaching and works hard to contribute progress of the institute.

Ms. Smita. S.Aher.
	M.Pharm. (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) Lecturer
She has completed his post graduation from M.G.V.’s Pharmacy College, Panchvati, Nashik and Graduation from Pravara Rural College of Pharmacy Pravaranagar. She has Three year industrial experience. She has Two year approved experience in teaching. There are 4 National and 2 International research publications .She has also attended and participated in National and International Level conference, seminars and workshops.

Mr. Vaibhav Buchake

M.Pharm(Pharmacognosy)
Lecturer

Mr. Vaibhav Buchake is working as HOD in Pharmacognosy stream since the inception of the Institute. He bears eight years experience in combination of Marketing and Academics. He did his post graduation from TVES’S COP, Faizpur and Bachlours from SVPM’S COP, Baramati. He is credited with 02 International research papers, 03 National and 01 review articles published.

He has represented in number of National and International Conferences with research poster presentations. He has done Diploma in Naturopathy. Always committed for the holistic development of students.

Mr.Rishikesh S.Bachhav.
	M.Pharm. (Pharmacology) Lecturer
He has completed his post graduation from R. C. Patel College of Pharmacy, North Maharashtra University, with specialization in Pharmacology and graduation from M.G.V.’s Pharmacy College, Panchvati, and Nashik. He has one year industrial experience in FDC Ltd. Mumbai. He has four year approved experience in teaching. He is founder teacher member of the institute since 2008.He has worked as a lecturer in S.S.D.J. College of pharmacy, Chandwad. There are 4 National and 3 International research publications and 1 Review article on his name. He has also attended and participated in National and International Level conference, seminars and workshops.

Mr. Ghanshyam B. Jadhav

M. Pharm (Pharmacology)

Lecturer

Mr. Ghanshyam B. Jadhav has completed his post graduation with first class from Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandirs Pharmacy College, Panchavati, Nashik and Bachelor degree with first class from S. V. P. M’S College of Pharmacy, Baramati affiliated to University of Pune.

He has nine years teaching experience. He got best student award at both U. G. level and P. G. level. He has published four research papers in reputed International Journal and two research papers in National Journal. He has also attended and participated in National and International Level conference, seminars, workshops.

Mr. Amol. P. Muthal
	M. Pharm (Pharmacology) Lecturer
Mr. Amol P. Muthal has completed his Masters in Pharmacology with 75% from Poona College of Pharmacy, Pune, affiliated to Bharti Vidyapeeth University and Bachelor of Pharmacy from Pravara Rural College of Pharmacy, affiliated to University of Pune. He has worked on topic “Atypical Antipsychotic Drug Induced Metabolic Abnormalities in Laboratory Animal” under the guidance of Dr S. H. Bhardwaj and Dr S. L. Bodhankar during post graduate studies. He has qualified GATE 2004 conducted by IIT, Mumbai with 83.86 percentile. He has three years of research experience and presently working as approved Lecturer, Department of Pharmacology. There are three international research publications to his creditHe has also attended and participated in National and International Level conference, seminars and workshops. Presently he is pursuing his M.S. at university of Skovde Sweden working on topic “Mitochondrial pathways in cancer cell”.

Ms. Toral C. Patel
	M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology) Lecturer
Ms.Toral C. Patel holds a Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology from L.M.College of Pharmacy, affiliated to University of Gujarat and her Bachelor degree from M.G.V’S Pharmacy College, Nashik, affiliated to University of Pune with Distinction. She secured 73.07 % in B.Pharm and 68% in M.Pharm. GATE qualified in 2007 with All India Rank 81th rank (99.57percentile) conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. She did her Reasearch entitled “Mucoadhesive Extended Release approaches for Oral Ulcers using Lidocaine Hydrochloride and Benzydamine Hydrochloride by Quality by Design paradigm”.Qualified for General Course on Intellectual Property (Paper DL 101), conducted by World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Geneva (score-89). She has also attended and participated in National and International Level conference, seminars and workshops. There are two Review articles to her credit.

Mr. Dattatraya Manohar Shinkar

M Pharm (Pharmaceutics)

Lecturer

He has completed his post graduation in Pharmaceutics specialization with 76.14% from V.L.College of Pharmacy, Raichur, affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Banglore Karnataka in the year 2008 and completed his B.Pharm with 65% from A.R.A. College of Pharmacy, Dhule, affiliated to North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon.

He has two years of approved teaching experience with additional responsibility worked as NSS Programme Officer and presently working as a Lecturer in Department of Pharmaceutics.

He has also attended and participated in National and International level conferences and seminars. He was author for 13 review poster presentations at national level conference held on “Current Trends in Novel Drug delivery Systems” at Shirpur. He was First Prize and Third prize winner in National Level Oral and Poster presentations held at Markapur, AP, India and Shirpur, Maharashtra respectively on his reserch work entitled “Development and in vitro evaluation of Mucoadhesive tablets of clotrimazole and its beta cyclodextrin complex in the treatment of oral candidiasis”.

Mr. Bhairav Bhushan Ashok

He has completed his post graduation in Quality Assurance techniques specialization with 65% from Poona College of Pharmacy, Bharti Vidyapeeth University, Pune Maharashtra in the year 2008 and completed his B.Pharm with 61% from Pravara rural College of Pharmacy, Loni, affiliated to Pune University, Pune

He has two years of approved teaching experience with additional responsibility worked as Exam in charge and Sport in charge and presently working as a Lecturer in Department of Pharmaceutics.

He has also attended and participated in National and International level conferences and seminars. He was author for 3 review poster presentations at National level conference held at Lucknow (CDRL) And Hyrdabad. on his research work entitled “Application of Polymerase chain reaction in membrane filter testing.”

Mrs. Jyoti Ashok Kedar
	M.Sc. (Microbiology) Lecturer.
She has completed her graduation in Microbiology from N.D.M.V.P.Samaj’s K.T.H.M.college Nashik.and post graduation from Department of Microbiology,University of Pune,Pune. She has 5 years experience in teaching. Presently doing a M.Phil.in Environmental science),chose her dissertation topic as,”Ecofriendly ,biosynthesis of Xanthan gum.” She has attended short term programme on Microbial Limit test for Pharmaceutical preparation.”at Bharati vidya bahavan,New port Biotecchnologies ,Aurangabad. Also, attended workshop on, recent trends in Biotechnology & Nanotechnology.’ held at K.K.Wagh college of Engineering Nashik. She is delivering lectures of Pharmaceutical Microbiology & Immunology, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, conducting practical of Microbiology & Immunology.

Ms. Sonali D Labhade
	B.Pharm Lecturer
Miss. S.D.Labhade is working as a Senior Lab Technician(Instructer/Teacher) in Pharmaceutical Analysis in the institute. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Bhujbal knowledge city MET’s Institute of Pharmacy,Adgaon, Nashik with first class. She is credited with 1 International Journal, 2 review articles.

Mr. Sachin Shivaji Kushare
	M. Pharm Lecturer
Mr. Sachin Shivaji Kushare has completed his M. Pharm. from R. C. Patel Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Shirpur and B. Pharm. from Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandirs Pharmacy College, Panchavati, Nashik. He has qualified GATE 2007 conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. Additionally he has qualified General Course on Intellectual Property conducted by World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Geneva. He has 2 years of teaching experience in reputed pharmacy institutes. He has won 1st prize in university level research competition ‘Avishkar- 2008’ and ‘Avishkar – 2010’ Held at North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. He has two international publications with impact factor 2 in his credit. He has attended 1 staff development program (QIP). He has attended 3 international, 10 national conferences and 2 workshops. His core research competencies are design & development of drug deliveries and pharmaceutical excipients. He has in depth knowledge of predicting drug release kinetics from various drug deliveries, statistical optimization techniques and handling of instruments for pharmaceutical use. He has guided 7 students at undergraduate level for research work. He has channeled many students for competitive exams in pharmacy. He strongly believes in knowledge based teaching and learning practice.

Mrs. Anjana Ratnakar Bhandari
	Librarian
Mrs. Anjana Ratnakar Bhandari has completed her Masters in Library & Information sciences from Y.C.M.O.U. and Bachelor in Library & Information sciences of from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Aurangabad She has worked on topic “Case study of newspaper materials for MBA & Law college students according to the university syllabus” under the guidance of Prof Swati Bhadkamkar during post graduate studies. She has also completed her graduation in subject Microbiology She has eighteen years of experience and presently working as librarian in R.G. Sapkal of pharmacy since 2008 She aims for the development in library & information science professional fields.
